My business cards say such things as HSE Specialist, Safety Professional and Risk Management Consultant. But when you get right down to it, I’m much more: I’m a environmentalist, disaster management strategist, a social media analyst, a technical person and a big believer in the power of safety.

I have nearly 6 years of experience working in Occupational Safety in one of the most hazardous industries in the world (Oil & Gas). Currently, I work in Halliburton as a Safety Specialist, improving safety culture and services for our customers by using advanced HSE Management system standing up HAZOP, Strategic Planning, QRA, Bowtie Risk Assessment and Upstream Process Safety.

Previously, I was HSE Specialist with Baker Hughes where I ensured Safety at workplace and supported operations to cater HSE performance to our customers.

I also teach, make aware employees, give training and educate personnel and company professionals on how to create Healthier and Safer Environment at work so that they understand importance of workplace safety and move them toward their core goals.

On creative end, I write articles, columns and give reviews over different platforms.
