After a few commercial roles at various IT Companies, I started my first IT company in 1996. This company, Equality, was set up under the umbrella of the Computerij Group. The company was specialized in the recruitment and training of young academics into IT-developers in order to staff IT-projects at corporate clients like KPN, ABN-Amro, Cap Gemini, CMG and Rabobank.
In 2002 I sold my stake in the company and took a sabbatical leave which resulted in founding one of the first mobile start-ups in the Netherlands (24access). In 2008 I sold my stake in the company and started working more in interim management roles for several ICT-companies.
I am accustomed to acting and negotiating at both board and executive levels. And when necessary I am certainly not averse to rolling up my sleeves and working in a hands-on capacity. I am also able to make new contacts very easily, both on the work floor and at board level. Roles I feel comfortable in are: Management, Product Ownership, New Business Development, Coaching, Negotiator, Ambassador.
