Bruno has 26 years experience in stratigraphic and structural prospect generation and field evaluation (all prospects were supported by seismic interpretation and geophysical modelling):

  • 5 years of development/production work and prospect generation in carbonate-clastic basins that included wrench fault tectonics (mid-continent area). Pennsylvania unconventional field development.
  • 8 years of field development and prospect generation in Gulf of Mexico geology (salt tectonics/Shelf /Deep Water) that included three new field discoveries.
  • 13 years of international exploration and development experience in the following areas: Brazil (Onshore, Shelf & Deep Water), Canada (NW Territories), Greenland, Caribbean, U.K. North Sea, Israel (Deep Water), China (Onshore, Offshore), Mexico (onshore unconventional), Malaysia (Shelf & Deep Water), Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Peru, Suriname (Deep Water) and W. Africa (Shelf & Deep Water).

In addition, he has 5 years experience as Exploration Manager Brazil and New Ventures Geophysicist:

  • Managed Brazil budget, interfaced with Brazilian government officials, supervised a team of 4 Brazilian professionals, performed public hearings in communities in the vicinity of Newfield exploration licenses, and represented Newfield on the Instituto Brasiliero de Petroleo Steering committee.
  • Evaluated Brazilian exploration opportunities in Espirito Santo, Camamu, Campos and Santos Basins; participated in Rounds 4 through 7; unsuccessfully bid on high bid blocks, captured two.

And, he has 5 years experience as Technical Marketing Management for seismic acquisition and processing services. Established numerous contacts throughout Latin America and U. S., acquired an extensive knowledge of the latest in 3-D seismic acquisition, 3-D data processing (time and depth), 3-D pore pressure prediction and fluid replacement studies:

  • 2 years of geophysical technical marketing in Latin America and U.S.
  • 3 years of managing a technical marketing team covering the U.S. and continued geophysical technical marketing responsibilities in Latin America.
  • Published technical papers in English and Spanish, knowledge of some Brazilian Portuguese
