Finance professional with international, multicultural experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, downstream as well as upstream. Cees is an energetic and analytical person and above all a team worker with a focus on results.

He has worked in financial, IT and commercial roles in various sectors of Royal Dutch Shell in different cultures for more than 30 years and developed a strong business and commercial mind set.

The last 5 years of his career he was Chief Financial Officer with Qatar Fertilizer Company in Qatar, setting up a more professional Finance Organisation. In this role the main challenges were related to change management delivering a robust Finance Team with appropriate business sense.

In all these roles he had extensive staff responsibilities and was coaching and managing staff with different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities.

Cees has a master’s degree in business economics with the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
