His research in Neurology focused mainly on Epilepsy, Headaches, Frontotemporal Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson disease, Pain, Sleep Medicine and Multiple Sclerosis. He authored more than 40 peer-reviewed articles and reviewed more than 300 protocols for study proposals. He has chaired and spoken at numerous conferences in the field of Sleep Medicine, Multiple Sclerosis and lifecycle management.

He holds an MD (University of Genoa, Italy), a PhD in Sleep Medicine (University of Bologna, Italy).
