Rajiv is an Independent Consultant in the domain of MSME Development. Till recently (July 2005 – July 2017), he was Advisor (Industry Affairs) to the Minister of Industry & Commerce in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Rajiv was Chairman & Managing Director of India’s National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), a Public Sector Enterprise under the Indian Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (July 2002 till May 2005). Rajiv was with UNIDO for three years (January 1999 to December 2001) heading a project on “Institutional Capacity Building for International Industrial Partnerships” focusing on investment and technology promotion in the SME sector.
