Job title: Consultant (permanent or freelance)

Location: Germany (Neu-Isenburg or Home office)

As a consultant, you will be responsible for managing the tasks of complex customer projects. You will be assisted by experienced DuPont managers and industry experts. In this exciting role, you collect and capture on-site information, formulate and test hypotheses about root causes, and develop and communicate appropriate recommendations. It is also your job to present results to the customer and to implement recommendations in collaboration with members of the customer team. In addition to active customer project work, as a consultant you will assist in gaining new customers and markets, providing presentations for executives and developing a thought leader position.

Responsibilities:

Manage the execution of complex tasks and assigned responsibilities in the framework of customer projects independently and on their own responsibility, including:
- Identify and structure customer challenges and issues to build hypotheses about possible causes
- Collect and capture customer data for testing these hypotheses
- Analyse data to develop meaningful recommendations and solutions
Mainly responsible for involving the customer through meetings, discussions and workshops at different stages of the project lifecycle
Lead the development and creation of high-quality presentations and documents used in customer projects and business development
Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure project success
expand knowledge and expertise in an important area of expertise (e.g. security, OpEx, [other disciplines]) while keeping up to date with industry developments
Promote the development and transfer of DSS knowledge. These include creating content about best practices developed during customer projects, and standardizing project procedures and related templates.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering, Sciences or other related fields; MBA or Master preferred
Required: Several years of professional experience in a leading management consulting firm or in the field of operations of an industrial enterprise (eg oil & gas, manufacturing, mining, construction, etc.)
Experience in implementing safety, process safety, operational excellence or risk management programs in industrial companies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and extraordinary skill in working with clients at all levels
Excellent analytical skills and excellent skills in quantitative problem-solving methods
Knowledge of challenges and growth opportunities for companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
English and German fluently spoken and written. Knowledge of a third European language is of significant advantage
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 80% of the monthly working time)
